Also, we will visit to the Turkish memorial site of Khushuu Tsaidam. Khushuu Tsaidam are consisted of four memorial complexes including those erected in honor of Bilge Khan, a famous leader of Turkic Empire (d.734) and Kultegin, chief of all armed forces.

Tour itinerary

Day 1, Ulaanbaatar

Arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and check in hotel *(the hotel check in and out time is 12.00 so please be sure the early check in not guaranteed if there are rooms available we could do it for you) free for leisure. After lunch short sightseeing; visit Ulaanbaatar city’s biggest Gandan Monastery, Main Square Sukhbaatar and Chinggis Khan’s Monument, National History Museum and see Mongolian traditional performance. Welcome dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Elsen Tasarkhai-small sand dune

Drive to Khugnu Khaan Mountain. Visit to Elsen tasarkhai, Uvgun temple and available to ride a camel on sand. Overnight at tourist GER camp.

Day 3, Kharkhorum ancient city ruin

Drive to Kharakorum nowadays a functioning monastery in constant renovation to its former splendor. Once, 1000 monks used to inhabit Erdenezuu Monastery. It had some 100 temples within its 400 by 400 meters long walls. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Only the walls and 3 temples remain. Erdenezuu is still one of the most fascinating sites of Mongolia, and usually we will be able to experience and see the prayers. Overnight at tourist GER camp.

Day 4, Ugii Lake

Drive to Ugii Lake and on the way we will visit to the Turkish stone site of Khushuu Tsaidam. Khushuu Tsaidam are consisted of four memorial complexes including those erected in honor of Bilge Khan, a famous leader of Turkic Empire (d.734) and KulTegin. Arrive in Ugii Lake and here you are available to hiking, fishing and boating. The beautiful lake is the home of thousands of water birds. Overnight at tourist GER camp.

Day 5, Khustai National Park

Drive to Khustai National park. Khustai National park was protected in 1993 to conserve biodiversity and facilitate the re-introduction to the wild ass or known as Przewalski horse (Takhi). See the wild horses. Also you can see the small sand dune Moltsog els or known as Sand Hill. Overnight at tourist camp.

Day 6, Terelj National Park

Drive to Terelj National Park via Ulaanbaatar city. On the way have a lunch at Ulaanbaatar city. We will short stop on Terelj Ovoo or known as shamanist sacred stones. Continue to cave, Turtle Rock and Aryabal meditation temple. Short hike to the mountain see picturesque scenery of National Park. Overnight at tourist GER camp.

Day 7, Ulaanbaatar

In the morning you short horse riding at Terelj. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city and have lunch. Visit Natural history museum, Zaisan hill panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar city and shopping in cashmere and souvenir shops. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 8, Departure

Check out from hotel and transfer to Chinggis Khan International Airport for departure. End of the tour.
