Mongolia is home to over 400 species of birds. In the Gobi you may see the desert warbler, houbara bustard, saxaul sparrow, sand goose, finch, cinereous vulture and many more. In the steppes: the gray demoiselle crane, a variety of hoopoes, odd eagle, vulture, upland buzzard, steppe eagle, variety of falcons including Saker falcon, black kite and variety of owls and hawks.

| Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar |
| Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. After check-in hotel, we will do short city tour including Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan Monument, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert. Have a dinner. Overnight at hotel |
| Day 2 Ulaanbaatar – Tuul River – Terelj National Park |
| After breakfast, we will head to Tuur River for bird watching. Then we will go to Terelj National Park. We can enjoy bird watching, horse riding and visiting small meditation temple Aryapala. Overnight in tourist GER camp |
| Day 3 Terelj National Park – Ulaanbaatar – Bayankhongor |
| Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and take flight to Bayankhongor. Overnight at local hotel in Bayankhongor town. |
| Day 4 Bayankhongor – Boon Tsagaan Lake |
| Around 200 km driving to Boon Tsagaan Lake. We will settle up our camping site and go for bird watching around Boon Tsagaan Lake. Overnight at tent |
| Day 5 Boon Tsagaan Lake |
| All day bird watching in Boon Tsagaan Lake. Overnight at tent |
| Day 6 Boon Tsagaan Nuur – Orog Lake |
| Drive to Orog Lake. Upon arrival we will settle up our tent camp and go for bird watching around Orog Lake. Overnight at tent |
| Day 7 Orog Lake |
| Full day bird watching around Orog Lake. Overnigh at tent. |
| Day 8 Orog Lake – Altai Mountains (Ikh Bogdiin Nuruu) |
| We will drive heading to Ikh Bogdiin Nuruu which is branch mountain of Altai Mountain ranges. Bird watching and overnight at tent around Ikh bogdiin Nuruu. |
| Day 9 Altai Mountains – Khongor Sand dunes |
| We will drive heading to Khongor Sand dunes and go for bird watching. Overnight at tourist GER camp |
| Day 10 Khongor Sand dunes – Yoliin Am |
| We will drive to Yoliin Am in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Overnight at tourist GER camp |
| Day 11 Full day birding in Yoliin Am |
| Today we will dedicate full day birding in Yoliin Am. Overnight at tourist GER camp |
| Day 12 Yoliin Am – Dalanzadgad – Ulaanbaatar – Gun Galuut |
| Take early flight to Ulaanbaatar and upon arrival directly go to Gun Galuut Natural Reserve. Overnight at tourist GER camp |
| Day 13 Gun Galuut |
| Full day watching birds in Gun Galuut natural reserve. Overnight at tourist GER camp |
| Day 14 Gun Galuut – Ulaanbaatar |
| Drive to Ulaanbaatar and we will do short sightseeing tour including Natural History Museum or National History Museum or Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum. In the afternoon free time for shopping and for relax. Have a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel |
