    Tour itinerary


Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar 
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. After checking-in to the hotel, we will do short city tour including Chinggis Square, Natinal Museum, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before having dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert and after dinner we will return to the hotel and stay overnight. 
Day 2 Baga Gazariin Chuluu
Drive to Gobi Desert through Baga Gazriin Chuluu, known as granite rock formation in the middle of Gobi desert. We will drive through steppes by overview of land-sea and grandiose formation of rocks and basalts of Baga Gazriin Chuluu. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 3 Tsagaan Suvarga
Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), which is one of the picturesque places in Gobi desert. It’s 90 degree of straight, consists of many colors of clay deposits. In ancient times, there was a big sea in KHevtee and Bosoo valleys of Tsagaan Suvarga. After dried up the sea, this area became a valley with many glacis and escarpments, covered by many different sedimentary deposits. Tsagaan suvraga is a big escarpment with 200m height and 400m long.Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 4 Yoliin Am
Drive to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain Range (Three beauties of Gobi). It is the end of the Altai Mountain Ranges where you will have the chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and vultures. We will visit Yoliin Am glacier canyon and enjoy walking between the canyons. Until mid July, we can see glaciers of the canyon. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 5 Khongor Sand Dunes
Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes or known as Singing Dunes. Khongor Sand Dunes are the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia. It has an extraordinary length of 180 kms and is 15-20 kms wide. There is an oasis near Khongor River at the northern edge of the sand dunes. You can do activities upon your own interest such as one hour camel riding or climbing to the sand dunes. Enjoy the sunset in Gobi desert, as it is claimed to be one of the most beautiful sceneries in Mongolia. Stay the night at Ger Camp.
Day 6 Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs
Drive to Bayanzag known as Flaming cliffs. Bayanzag is famous for dinosaur remains, complete dinosaur skeletons and fossilized eggs. American explorer, Roy Chapman Andrews discovered this area in the beginning of 20th century and became internationally famous. If you see carefully, while exploring the area you could find some piece of bones or dinosaur eggs. In the afternoon we can visit Gobi tree saxaul forest. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 7 Ongi Temple Ruin
Drive to Ongi Temple Ruin. It was one of the 7 biggest temples in Mongolia. There are ruins of 2 complex monasteries which were built up in the 1780s. After people’s revolution in 1921, these two monasteries were destroyed and lamas (monks) were killed by communists. If you get up early, you will have a great chance to see some wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, wolf etc. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 8 Kharkhorum
Drive to Kharkhorum. Kharkhorum was built in 1220 and was the capital of Mongolia for 140 years. In 1388, the city was massively destroyed and Erdenezuu Buddhist Monastery where we will make a visit was founded in 1586 at the city’s ruin. It was the first and the biggest Buddhist center in Mongolia in 17th century. The monastery complex is surrounded by 400x400m walls with 108 stupas. In the early 20th century, there were more than 100 temples and over thousand lamas that used to serve. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Nowadays, only one temple holds religious activity and the rest remained as a museum. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 9 Tsenkher Hot Springs
Drive to Tsenkher Hot spring which is located 1860m above sea level in Khangai Mountain Ranges. Arrive in tourist Ger camp and have a bath in hot spring pool. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 10 Khorgo National Park
Drive to Khorgo Terkh National Park. On the way we will see a tree named 108 branches of tree with covered blue scarf (Khadag) which Mongolians believe that praying for this tree brings good luck. Afterwards we will see Chuluut river great canyon which is a huge creation of volcanic earthquake. Arrive at Khorgo and stay the night at Ger Camp.
Day 11 Khorgo National Park
A full day for hiking nearby White Lake or also known as Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur and volcanic mountains over 2000m above sea level. We will then visit Cave of the Yellow Dog, Ice cave and Zaluuchuud cave etc. Hike back to Ger camp and stay the night.
Day 12 Jargalant area
Drive to Jargalant is located between Khorgo and Khuvsgul lake. Today you will drive through one of the most beautiful landscapes of Mongolia.  We will stay the night at the Ger Camp.
Day 13 Khuvsgul Lake
Drive to Khuvsgul Lake. Khuvsgul Lake is dubbed as the Mongolian Switzerland. It is surrounded with lash green forest mountains and is the second deepest lake in Central Asia. Also it covers 1% of fresh water resource of the world. Stay the night at the Ger Camp.
Day 14 Khuvsgul Lake
Visit Tsaatan family also well known as reindeer people where it is located approximately 50kms from our camp site and it takes 2 and a half hour of driving. Depending on the season, sometimes these families move on to a more remote area for their reindeers. Mostly there will be two families which are Tsaatan people (reindeer herder) and Shaman. Stay the night at the tourist Ger Camp.
Day 15 Khuvsgul Lake - Uran Togoo Volcano
Drive to Uran Togoo Volcano. Uran Togoo is one of the oldest dead volcanoes in Mongolia. Stay the night at the tourist Ger Camp.
Day 16 Uran Togoo Volcano - Amarbayasgalant Monastery
Drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery. It is the most beautiful and well preserved old monastery in northern Mongolia. The main factor that makes this monastery amazing is that its architecture of the temple is constructed without a single iron nail everything built based on wooden block puzzles. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 17 Amarbayasgalant Monastery - Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. In the afternoon we will have some free time for shopping and for relaxing. Have a farewell dinner. Stay the night at the hotel. 
Day 18 Departure 
Check out hotel. Transfer to airport. Departure
